Fearing that her father, who is gravely ill, would be drafted into the Chinese military, Mulan disguises herself as a young man and enlists in the army, although, as a woman in a patriarchal society, she is ineligible to serve. To practise with fellow recruits, she wanders off and impersonates a man. Mushu is there to assist in defending the kingdom against a Hun invasion, but she falls in love with Captain Shang along the way.
Mulan is a progressive heroine that was created at such an ideal time, and young girls may look up to her and see that they are capable of so much! Mulan is immortalised in her own Funko Pop version.
This version of Mulan stands only 9.5cm tall, but don't let her gown fool you, she can still take you down (but this Funko doesn't move, just in case she does). Even the protector requires its own protection, so it comes with its own display window box.
