What the R2-D2 USB Hub is all about...
|
|
Isn't it always the way – you've got more USB devices than you've got USB ports! (You'd think they'd just chuck a whole lot more USB ports on the PC itself – but hey, maybe that's just Imperial Stormtrooper thinking.) Anyways, if you did have a whole stack of USB ports, you'd have no excuse to get the R2-D2 USB Hub!
Yes, this completely unintelligible, totally adorable little droid who's been sidekick to the saviours of the universe, can now ride shotgun with you on your PC.
Have you got a Star Wars fan in the family? Wrap this little fella up for them and they'll be over the moon! (And not just any moon, but the 3 moons of Tatooine!)
You can use your new R2-D2 USB Hub to run equally cool stuff like your USB Cup Warmer or your USB Mini Lightsaber (how's that for some subtle cross-promotion)!
Whatever you plug in will result in the oh-so-familiar, makes-you-giggle-like-a-girl R2 bleeps, flurps and bips. Word of advice though, you should resist the urge to continually plug and unplug devices just to hear the little guy chirp, unless you want to come back to your desk and find a little pile of space junk.
It's no longer just geeks and sci-fi nuts who dig this droid – he's so famous, he's crossed the space-time continuum and wriggled into the wormholes of just about everyone's hearts. So the question isn't "who do you know who would like an R2-D2 USB Hub" – it's "Who wouldn't"?!
