What the Retro Tape Dispenser is all about...
|
|
Just because you may need the service that a tape dispenser can provide, doesn't mean you need it's rather predictable and unfunky functionality taking up space on your desk and filling the space in front of your face with the cliché, the uninspiring and the unoriginal. If you MUST have a tape dispenser on your desk, you may as well have a bit of fun with it!
The Retro Tape Dispenser is a pun on itself – a double meaning by design - a joke at it's own expense (or should that be "dispense"). When someone says "where's your tape?" you can let the hilarity begin, starring in your very own Abbott & Costello style "who's on first" routine – e.g. "The tape's in the tape", "the tape tape?", "no, not a cassette tape, I wanted tape." (Ok, well, perhaps it's not that funny.)
When you run out of tape – just pull apart the two sides and load up your new supply and it's ready to play again. It's complete with winder wheels, a glimpse of the roll of tape inside and sticker details.
If you were around in the glorious days of being able to record your own mix tapes, this will have the memories flooding back – you might even like to name your "blank" tape just for old times sake e.g. a little Bryan Ferry, "Let's Stick Together", "Sticky Fingers" by the Rolling Stones, how about a little "Fleetwood Tac" (Ok, they weren't that funny either.)
All B-side jokes aside - The Retro Tape Dispenser is indispensable – it's style that sticks – it's available now!!
